2024 Guest Speaker

Maryanne Lowery came to joyful faith in Christ while a young child.  As a pastor’s wife in her mid-20s, following years of frustrated cycles of trying, failing and trying again to live a truly Christian life, she received a bit of understanding that she, like the Christians of Galatia had “begun by the Spirit” only to try to be “perfected by the flesh” (Gal 3:3).  So began the life-long journey of learning to truly abide in Christ and experience His grace for everyday living.

Maryanne married Ron in 1986, and they have two teens – Serena, a senior in high school and Jedidiah, a seventh grader.  Over their 37 years of marriage, Ron and Maryanne have served in churches and Christian schools in the US and in New Zealand.

As a pastor’s wife, homeschooling mom and “mompreneur”, Maryanne spends a fair bit of time juggling calendars!

Topic for this weekend: “Abiding and Abounding”
