Mother Daughter Retreat
Due to COVID-19, we have made the decision to cancel the Mother Daughter Retreat for fall 2020
Mothers and daughters of all ages are welcome to attend our annual Mother Daughter Retreat! Join us for a special weekend of fellowship and encouragement in God’s word. This is a great opportunity for moms and daughters to spend quality time with one another while being encouraged in their relationship with Christ. The weekend includes chapel sessions, games, activities, great food, and free time to simply enjoy being together.
Check in: Friday 7:30 PM
Departure: 11:45 AM
Activities & Amenities
His Hill provides a wonderful atmosphere for mothers and daughters to spend quality time together and grow in their relationship with Jesus. During the weekend guests will have the opportunity to participate in scheduled events and choose from various activities to enjoy with one another. Actives include crafts, group games, horseback riding, canoeing, high ropes course, use of our hiking trails, gaga ball pit, and open courts (volleyball, tennis, basketball).
Families will lodge in our “Ark” (dorm-style) accommodation for the weekend, which is located half a mile away from our main campus. The Ark has many rooms, most of which sleep 2-4 guests. There are community restrooms on either end of the building. The area surrounding the Ark provides outdoor picnic tables and benches, space for recreational games, and a fire pit. During the weekend families may drive between the Ark and main campus or take a scenic route on our trails.
Throughout the weekend we will be opening God’s word together to learn more about our great Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! There will be multiple chapel sessions during the retreat and a reflections time for sharing what the Lord has been teaching us. This year, our chapel teachings will be given by JennaDee, Taryn, and Mirren Martin. This family is great friends of His Hill and part of Biblical Discipleship Ministries, founded by Dr. Jobe Martin. They travel around the globe as a family unit with the desire to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the world.
